A late 17th century (1690) English oyster cabinet on stand. Made in Olivewood this piece is all completely original,with original stand.with all giltbrass original handles and decoration.
the cabinet has 2 large doors all vaneered in olive which open to reveal a set of 10 drawers and one central cupboard. Open this door to find its lined with a wooden box which when removed reveals a set of 3 secret drawers.
The base has 2 drawers at the top and is raised on barely twist legs ,the stretcher veneered in olive and rest on bun feet.
In fantastic condition with exceptional movement displayed through the wood,a real statement piece
